Kensington Western Restaurant ( Cameron Highland)

We arrive at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. We ordered the Argentinian medium-rare ribeye steak, roasted duck breast, seafood chowder with garlic bread, Irish coffee, and rose tea. The staff generously provided the berry cheesecake for free. The food is delicious and served hot. The steak's rareness was perfect. The serving size is appropriate for an adult. The employees are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is air-conditioned, comfortable, clean, and halal certified. Keep up the excellent work. We will repeat... InShaaAllah

We came here because of the review… Order 3 mains to share (only took photos of 2 & forgot to take photo of the cheese chicken chop) Note: I can’t remember the exact name of the mains on the menu but you will know what I mean. Food was really very good and I would say you are paying for quality of the food. Portion is average portion size. (wished it would be more because it’s really good) We came around 8pm for dinner the place was half full.. We parked a bit further up the hill and because it was night time there is alot of parking I like the ambients of the place. Overall i won’t mind to come back again. Portion is good for small eaters and may not be enough for big eaters.

Our family passed by this restaurant nearby our homestay in Cameron highland. Attracted by the look of this restaurant. There have flowers hanging and plantations surrounding the restaurant, the flowers are all well taken care of by one of the lady staff. Making the whole dining experience very good. Food is very good as well , nice and helpful staff. Good recommendations to come visit! We are here for a family birthday celebration, good choice for a celebration dinner.

An absolute hidden gem! This charming eatery serves gastronomic delights that tantalize the palate without bruising the wallet. Each dish bursts with exquisite flavor, elegantly plated and portioned to perfection. The ambience is enchantingly cosy—soft lighting, romantic melodies, and floral accents weave an intimate, heartwarming vibe. Service is top-tier; staff exude genuine warmth and attentiveness. A sensational symphony of taste, comfort, and hospitality—unmissable!

Good food and lots of choices. Especially crab gratin. Steak is also good. But avoid spagetti, it is quite normal. Carbonara my daughter tried is quite sweet taste. I dont know why Carbonara is sweet. They opened from lunch to dinner without break.

An easy 5-star! My friends and I really enjoyed the food, each one of them. The waiter was really professional, friendly, and gave good recommendations. Ambience was nice, except for a little housefly who came by to visit. The veggie chowder soup was so addictive that we ordered more, same for the potato wedges. Those are not packaged wedges that are re-fried, but battered and cut from fresh prices of potatoes. I could taste the thin crispy later and the flavourful soft inner. Completely addictive! Not exaggerating that that was the best wedges of our lives! The creamy mushroom sauce that accompanied the chicken roll was also one of the yummiest I’ve ever tasted (I even paired it with the wedges). Mushroom bruschetta was generously packed with shrooms. Couldn’t really taste the crab in the crab cheese dish. An order was also missed out, but it is ok. We ate a lotttt. This place is definitely worth a go!!!

I was honestly done trusting influencer reviews. Most of them look good on camera but fail terribly in taste and quality. Then I found this quiet, underrated Western food restaurant and, finally, a place that delivers what it promises. I ordered the French chili creamy seafood pasta, and it was an absolute win. The sauce had the perfect balance rich, creamy, with just the right kick of chili heat, and packed with fresh seafood. Not the frozen rubbery kind, but actual prawns that tasted like they were meant to be in the dish. Next was the roasted chicken casserole with black pepper sauce. The chicken was tender, well-marinated, and roasted just right. The black pepper sauce wasn’t just poured on lazily it had depth, a nice peppery punch without overwhelming the dish. Paired with buttery broccoli and soft potatoes, it felt like proper comfort food was done with finesse. Less crowd. No long queues. No influencers filmed every bite. Just good food in a calm setting. A quiet gem with high taste and no nonsense. I'm definitely coming back.

Incredibly a hidden gem in Cameron Highlands. We’ve been searching for a nice place for steaks and good food and we stumbled upon this restaurant. Underrated place and the foods were tiptop! Ordered their steaks and fish & chips. Both had a big portion. For it’s price and size, we think it is an affordable price. Highly recommended if you are in Cameron highlands. They pretty much have everything, from pasta, meat and fishes.
